Also, all distributors ship from Flint River Ranch warehouses thus ensuring your pet's favorite food is received fresh and within 30 days of manufacture.

John's Natural Dog Training Company has been in business for over 15 years.  We have been proud distributors of Flint River Ranch since 1996. Our deep love of dogs led us to research and discover what good canine nutrition should consist of. We truly believe our dogs should live 18 to 25 years. But, because the commercial pet food industry has been allowed for so many years to put low-cost, inferior ingredients into our pet foods, we concluded it probably contributed to the early death of so many of our beloved companions. Flint River Ranch - High Quality Nutrition for Your Pet

One of the things that makes Flint River Ranch exceptional in the industry is that they only use high quality human-grade ingredients. This is in sharp contrast to well over 95% of pet food manufacturers, including Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro, Purina One and Pro-Plan, which all use pet-grade meats, grains and other ingredients.
 

Pet-grade food is food which is deemed unfit for human consumption by the FDA. Pet-grade grains include those which are moldy or rancid, while pet-grade meats include those termed "4D," which refers to meat and other products derived from an animal which arrived at the slaughterhouse either dying, dead, diseased or disabled. From these 4D meats come the by-products which are also used in these foods. By-products are a mix of such items as chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, fish heads, hides, hoofs and intestines.

 

The Flint River Ranch Company will not purchase fully range fed chicken as they can be sick or diseased. And, while Flint River Ranch endeavors to use as much organic fed chicken as possible,  the chicken they use is considered human-grade quality. The same applies to Flint River Ranch trout and lamb. Flint River's Menhaden fish comes from the North Atlantic ocean, the lamb is from New Zealand and is range grass-fed certified and the trout is raised in large cold-water ponds and trout farms.
 

Flint River's grain supplies come from companies that provide the highest quality ingredients to human food manufacturers. Flint River Ranch will not purchase grain from farms because of the possibility of toxic molds. All meat products are processed for Flint River Ranch by USDA approved slaughter houses, except for the lamb. However, the lamb is USDA inspected and approved.

 

California, where Flint River Ranch food is manufactured follows 4-D regulatory laws. Flint River will never use Dying, Dead (example an animal that has died in the field), Disabled or Diseased animals in their products.

 

Compared to commercial dog food brands, we consider Flint River Ranch to be the best choice. Oven-baked, naturally preserved, human-grade ingredients and ALWAYS, delivered fresh to your door!

 

Answers to frequently asked questions

 

Items Often Ship Separately - Flint River Ranch ships items from many warehouses across the country. Please do not be alarmed if your entire order did not arrive in the same shipment. If, however, all products do not arrive within 3 to 5 business days after the initial shipment, please email us.

 

Where's my order? - If it has been less then 5 business days, do not be alarmed. However, if after 7 business days your order has not arrived, please give us a call or send an email. Please remember Flint River Ranch does not deliver on weekends and Holidays. If you order on or near a weekend, chances are your order will not ship until the next Monday, unless Monday is a Holiday, and then it will ship on Tuesday. In most cases, when the weather is great and you placed your order early in the day and early in the week, your order will arrive within 2 to 3 business days.

 

Where's my order part 2? Did you receive a confirmation? - Sometimes customers forget to "SUBMIT" their orders. Please check your shopping cart before you call. If you did not receive a confirmation chances are your order did not go through.

 

Where's my order part 3? Did you order an discounted item? - Please check your email "Junk" folder and credit card statement. If Flint River Ranch determined you were already an established customer, then your credit card was refunded and your order was cancelled. We send emails asap to this effect with information on re-ordering but many times these go to junk folders so please check there.

 

I can't Log-In - Don't worry about it. Please place your order without logging in as we have made this feature optional so as not to hold up your ordering ability.

 

When is my next Auto-Ship or Please change or cancel my auto-ship - Please call Flint River Ranch directly at 800-354-6858. Leave a message if necessary or after hours and they will make the changes you need. Always ask for an email confirmation.
